It is the Christian belief that in order to save a marriage the couple must resolve their problems Infidelity is prohibited in Christian marriages and is also looked at as a sin. Problems in marriage may occur as a result of sexual indiscretions or various types of abuse. But Christianity does not advocate separation or divorce. Divorce can affect the life of both the partners at physical, emotional, financial, legal, spiritual and family levels. You don't have to worry if you are having marital problems and trying to save a Christianity-based union because you have options to explore and utilize. First of all, you need to talk to your partner and try to understand the problems in your married life. Mutual understanding is a more effective way to seek solutions. If your marriage is suffering because you are self-centered, then you must put your ego on the back-burner and resolve to change your behavior. To save your marriage it is essential that you have a self-assessment. Ponder your mistakes and limitations. Attempt to modify your behavior and eschew the actions that could hurt your significant other. If you want a good Christian marriage that can last forever, you need to examine your own behavior.
