A debt management agreement will help you solve the problem of high debt without taking drastic measures, like declaring bankruptcy or taking on a long-term debt consolidation loan. A debt management agreement is a negotiated agreement between you and your unsecured creditors.

It is better to be debt free life without any personal savings than paying for debts along with savings. Why? Well as the return on your savings is lower than the interest paid on debt, it is always advisable to pay the debt first rather than go for the short term investment.

A Debt management agreement should save a lot of money in future. In other word, One pound payment is better than one pounds saving.

When starting a debt agreement you need to understand exactly what you are agreeing to and what you will be charged. Read the agreement fully and never sign anything unless you are totally, 100% sure of what you are doing. If the terminology is making your brain ache, search the terms on the internet to find out what they actually mean.

You need to know ever part of your agreement, as soon as you sign, you a giving someone else the power of your credit, debt and finances. – Please be careful.
