They always say that eating an apple a day keeps the doctor away, and that is true. Research has been done and scientists have traveled around the world in search for the places where people live the longest and there have been some really surprising results. Don't exercise too hard. The people who live well into their hundreds put just the right amount of exercise in their lives. This doesn't include very stressful activities like working out at the gym or playing physically intensive sports. The best exercise (in the long run) is that which doesn't put too much strain on your heart. Instead of running, trying going for a long walk. The key is to move around normally. Sitting in front of a computer for ten hours a day is not normal. Running twenty miles a day isn't normal either. Eat apples, as well as other fruits and vegetables. This doesn't mean you need to become vegan or even a vegetarian, you're still free to eat some meat; you'll just need to do it sparingly. While exercise is the most important aspect to living a long life, eating right is the second most important. There's also another huge aspect to living into long age. And that is having family and friends. Always having loved ones around is a great feeling and keeps your mind in a peaceful state. Typically, the more friends you have, the better off you'll be. Lastly, there is another key to living a long life. And that is faith. If may or may not be coincidence that every single one of the persons who scientists found to be oldest living people on earth all were devout believers in their own religious beliefs. Maybe it's because it sets their mental state at ease to know that there is life after death. They know that everything will be okay and so there is absolutely nothing to worry about, ever. These people know how to enjoy their lives. They live stress free with a clean mental slate. They have something to believe in, as well as being able to share their beliefs and pass them along with family, friends, and loved ones. They eat healthy and lightly exercise. And they live well into their hundreds. There are also those who stay healthy in other ways. Science is providing all of us with some very interesting things in recent years. Soon, we're going to be able to simply grow a new kidney. A scientist in Australia recently discovered that when he injects himself with various small amounts of snake venom, his immune system becomes impenetrable and he has never been sick a single day of his life. Expect great things in the future. Expect people to one day live to be two hundred seventy four.
